Italian company HAL9000 has opened on their site access to a reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci fresco "Last Supper" in 16 Gigapixel (172181 pixels at width and 93611 pixels in height). It is made that all interested persons could study the well-known work of art, access to which original is limited because of its bad safety. Owing to a picture it is possible to see even Leonardo’s draft painting made even before drawing of a colorful layer on a wall.

The "Last Supper" has been made by Leonardo in 1495-1498 for refectory Milan church Santa Maria delle Grazie. In 1517 the work has started to collapse, and since then it was restored every decade. The largest works on restoration of the fresco have been made between 1978 and 1999. Even after that visitors are quarters allowed to be in refectory no more than an hour.
